Highway Horticulture, a Michigan-based cannabis company, is pleased to announce the grand opening ceremony and the ribbon cut on Friday, July 2nd at 4:20 p.m. at its first cannabis retail outlet, Sunset Coast Provisions, 980 E. State Street and invites the public to Cassopolis.

The Sunset Coast team says their donation to Helping Hands is part of their community initiative to help needy families in southwest Michigan.

“It is of vital importance for our company and our team to support the village in realizing its vision and to ensure that the most vulnerable are not left behind and have the resources they need to live their lives,” said Bobeck.

“Our team can’t wait to introduce locals and visitors to the unique Sunset Coast shopping experience, both locals and visitors, who share our love for the Michigan coast and the belief that cannabis is an amazing plant that can hugely enrich life as well as to introduce visitors, ”says Sayers.

The entrepreneurs hope that the shopping experience at Sunset Coast’s stores will be of value to those seeking the highest quality cannabis products Michigan has to offer.

“We want to bring the relaxed, down-to-earth environment and positivity of Midwestern marine life with casual, friendly, and knowledgeable service to all of our guests, from cannabis enthusiasts to cannabis connoisseurs,” said Sayers.

Sunset Coast is one of two cannabis retailers in Cassopolis and the only one with a license to open a consumption lounge on the property.

Cassopolis-Vandalia Chamber of Commerce President Billie Hires is confident that the cannabis shop will create positive roots in the community. Hires says: “It is a pleasure to celebrate the arrival of Sunset Coast, whose team has already shown their commitment and appreciation for the village of Cassopolis. I have no doubt that Sunset Coast will be an asset to our village and a dedicated, active participant in our business community. “

Sunset Coast caters to medical patients and recreational consumers ages 21 and older, and offers veterans and seniors a 10 percent discount. In addition, buyers can place orders online and use the roadside pick-up service. Cash and debit card payments are accepted and an ATM is available on site.

Sunset Coast is open Sundays, Mondays, and Tuesdays from 10 am to 6 pm; Wednesday and Thursday 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.
